Pros
Overall I had an amazing experience working at Victoria's Secret International. I started out as a freelance contractor and then they hired me full time. It's a huge company so I know people can have different experiences (I have talked to people who work there who did not have a good experience) but I loved my department and the people I worked with. People worked hard but it was not a high stress environment overall. I always had great managers and I found everyone on my immediate team and cross-functional teams were very supportive of one another. Aside from the people being great it's a great place for career development as well. If you want work on something personally, get assigned a specific project, or even want to work in a different department they're very good about making sure you are getting the most out of your experience and gain those opportunities. In the end I would say the pros are: 1) great culture 2) supportive coworkers 3) career development 4) great benefits
Cons
I really don't have any complaints. The only reason I left was because I was no longer passionate about what I was doing there and wanted to do something else with my career. The only con I can think of is that sometimes roles and responsibilities are not always clearly defined. It's important to take initiative in scheduling meetings and talking to your manager if you have any topics you want covered or want to present areas of opportunities because sometimes if you don't take the lead no one will. Also because the company is so big sometimes there can be a disconnect with senior level management. A lot of changes can be made at the senior level without understanding how that can affect people day to day so I think it's good to be open to change if you will work here and be aware of that.
