Pros

Lots of hours, lots of responsibility, lots of creative thinking.

Cons

Inconsistent hours, sometimes shifts are only two hours, longest shift i ever worked was 26 hours. Management was poor and people were always shallow and workplace dynamic was super competitive.

Pros

The pay was decent…but is it really decent if you’re literally selling your soul? They offered merit increases yearly and a twice a year bonus.

Cons

From what I’ve seen, it depends on the team you are on. There are some leaders that will train/ mentor you, literally give you a path to achieve certain milestones instead of throwing you to the wolves. I was not on one of those teams. Everyone is overworked. They hire and fire freelance PD coordinators all the time because they don’t “make the cut”…they don’t make the cut because manager literally don’t train them. Getting training on the PLM system is a joke. There is no real team collaboration. You remind design of parameters for costing and you get chewed out for speaking up. You very much have to drink the koolaid here. There have been too many times I’ve seen people from other teams crying because of the workload or how terrible it is. It’s very cut throat, catty and cliquey. Meeting after meeting after meeting and you still have to get your work done. There are many conversations happening around you but you’re not actually included in the conversations. Merch team is in Ohio- very cut throat.
