Pros

1. Benefits are extremely good. 2. Pay 3. I thank God every day I got fired. I started to over eat. Almost lost my marriage. Was angry all the time. I was forced to do shady practices in my sales to keep my job. Was fired and my life has been so much better. Customers call me EVERY WEEK to tell me how down hill some locations have gone.

Cons

1. Upper management in north jersey are incompetent, non educated, wannabe corporate individuals who believe in brown nosing and having 'cliques' instead of cultivating true leaders. 2. NEVER work for an indirect company because they are NOT verizon. You will spend every day explaining to customers the difference between a wireless and verizon. 3. A wireless ROBS customers with a $20 set up and go fee that is unwarranted. A wireless gives there district managers nice little cars and sends people accross states and sets them up in hotels to keeo robbing customers. How do you think they can afford this? Oh yeah check your reciept, set up and go ! 4. If your a store manager you work 8 days a week. Even if your not at work you are expected to answer work related calls. Dont pick up and see what happens next time your in. Work life balanace is THE WORST. 5. The owner and founder is such an intelligent man. Real nice guy. But the management he has in some districts ( North Jersey ) are ruining his company. These 'district managers' are street talking, stay on their phones while visiting stores, give no feed back and micro manage the life out of you because their pay is based on your performance. 6. Your pushing products that the general public DO NOT WANT. 7. Cult like company 8. Could be a great company, but in this area your better off not taking the job. 9. You are constantly re locating and customers never know who is going to be in stores next. You could spend a whole year building community relations but someone wants your store, your out. Its all about brown nosing here and if your in the right clique. 10. THEY OFFER ABSOLUTELY NO LEGITIMATE / EFFECTIVE TRAINING. JUST A MORNING POW WOW WITH STREET TALKING PEOPLE WHO MAKE JOKES ALL MORNING AND CELEBRATE TOP SALES PEOPLR. CORPORATE VERIZON AGENTS DONT EVEN ATTEND THESE 'TRAININGS'. Do yourself a MAJOR favor. Avoid a wireless and ALL indirect channels in ALL FOUR major cell phone companies. Work for corporate locations. Thats where real money and real careers are at.

Pros

There are some good people who work there. Unfortunately there are a lot more who are not

Cons

Victra has no real concept of work-life balance. I heard multiple people in leadership refer to it as “work-life integration,” which felt less like a benefit and more like a warning label. As an experienced recruiter, I was brought in for a project that was poorly planned from a staffing standpoint from the beginning. It was surprising to learn that some of the leadership involved had no formal background in recruiting, staffing, or HR, despite making decisions that directly impacted those functions. The company often seemed to take a reactive approach to problems instead of building thoughtful, preventative strategies. I heard the phrase “building airplanes in the sky” used more than once, and unfortunately, that seemed to reflect the actual operating model: move fast, figure it out later, and let employees absorb the chaos. The culture felt heavily rooted in grind/hustle expectations, with little regard for sustainability or employee well-being. There are talented people there, but the leadership approach makes it difficult to feel supported, valued, or set up for long-term success.
