Pros
The benefits are great and the pay is quite reasonable for the field. If you are looking to use Social Work skills past the 50 minute hour than this is the kind of job you want. You get to see a client in most aspects of their life, not just what the present in the usual session time. The staff are kind and compassionate and want to improve people's lives. The work is rewarding and you get to see how people can progress with the right guidance.
Cons
HR and upper management are so worried about law suits that it is nearly impossible to move along staff that are burnt out and no longer helpful.
