Pros

None whatsoever of the top of my head.

Cons

Based on my experience working here for two years, this property is run by the LAM Management Company, and their focus is very much on quantity over quality. The work environment is not healthy, and the pressure placed on staff can be unbearable at times. Housekeeping was consistently poor, which directly impacted guest satisfaction, yet staff were still expected to sell rooms regardless of the conditions. Management was often disorganized and, at times, felt shady in how situations were handled. Employees were routinely put in uncomfortable positions, essentially being asked to sell rooms that we knew were not truly sellable—rooms without proper heat or air conditioning for the entirety of my tenure. This created constant stress and ethical concerns for frontline staff who had to deal with upset guests afterward. Overall, the lack of accountability, poor working conditions, and disregard for both employees and guests made this a very difficult place to work. I would not recommend it as a healthy or ethical work environment

Pros

I loved working at Virgin. Learned a lot, had the support from the Operations team, and always felt like I had the encouragement to try different things. The staff make it even more special

Cons

Didn’t really have much Corporate support, but I’m sure as they continue to grow that’ll get better
