Pros
Culture is a top focus, making for an inclusive work environment
Cons
The #1 issue with this property is the Senior Leadership and unwillingness to provide basic needs to its staff. The ownership's desire to sell the property is well-known by all colleagues and this is used to say no to basic requests made by all departments. The GM is never at the hotel - misses morning meetings almost daily, is nowhere to be found throughout the day and when someone looks for him, it's a common joke to everyone who works in the office that he disappears for hours on end. Nobody actually knows what he does on a daily basis, let alone to help the hotel operate or support his teams. He has also been known to make inappropriate/aggressive comments to staff of all levels, including texts and emails in the middle of the night that are almost illegible. How are we still tolerating this behavior in today's day and age?? HR wants to avoid conflict at all costs so even they turn a blind eye (or are forced to do so) to big issues. Senior leaders who stand by and do nothing are a huge part of the problem and are failing those who depend on them.
