Pros

People want the company to succeed. Project deadlines, client expectations and technical challenges mean there is considerable variety in the work, you are continuously learning and constantly problem solving. You will develop good project management & communication skills! If you are looking for a 'comfortable' predictable job this is not for you. Culture is generally very open and collaborative & most people will look to help you if you approach them even if they've never met you before, Very diverse in terms of nationalities and cultures both in the UK and when working with colleagues in other offices. Good range of ages more skewed towards a young demographic making it a fun place to be. Benefits in general good and they are overall a good employer.

Cons

Rebranding risks making it more corporate and less authentic for the scientists who are most responsible for the company culture, and still seems a little strange not to have waited till 100 given we were so close. Bit of a corporate disconnect but elements of that will be down to cultural and language differences due to the very global nature of the company. Salaries are at or just above the market but the repeated emphasis on being a tech company sets up an expectation to match.

The company has a strong international footprint, a diverse mix of nationalities and backgrounds, and a good balance of technical depth and business ambition. Colleagues are friendly, collaborative, and highly capable, and the leadership team is generally accessible and open to discussion. The work can be challenging and intellectually interesting, especially for people who enjoy technical, global, and client-facing environments.

Cons

Career progression could be much clearer and more structured. Promotion paths, development plans, and expectations for advancement are not always easy to understand, which creates uncertainty for employees who want to grow within the company. Salaries are also slightly below market average in some areas, and compensation should remain competitive to retain strong talent. Like many global technical companies, priorities can also shift quickly, so clearer communication and consistency would help.
