Not much direction, organization, research, or foresight from executives/top-level managers. Products would be rolled out quickly and then die within 3 months because they weren't profitable. There was no grasp of ROI, and thus investments were managed inefficiently.
The product is not sustainable long-term. They have a first-to-market advantage but don't know how to capitalize on their educated workforce. Pay rates for sales agents are constantly changing, destroying morale.
The current office space is disgusting. Crickets fall from the ceiling and the carpets are stained and filthy.
Too many people have been promoted into management/executive positions due to tenure rather than actual qualifications.
No clear paths for career growth. It's very much a start-up environment, working to make it through the next week, and the next...you'd better hustle.
The culture changed significantly over the past year. This used to be a fun place to work. They used to lock the doors up before 6pm and tell everyone to go home to enjoy their personal lives, and this was a HUGE part of the culture. As margins and deadlines piled up, I saw both low-level employees and managers staying far past normal hours and even starting to work on weekends, with almost no thanks from anyone, while at the same time, work-sponsored happy hours began to fade away in frequency.
