Cons
Project oriented company with short vision from management, huge management layer without knowledge and only oriented to delivery anything soon. Even the technical management layer is only focused on deliveries not in best practices or procedures. There is no clear strategy or it's not shared leading to empty management discourses, scary communication issues and wrong management decisions. Business area is very interesting but there is no space to improve. Most of the innovation was inherited from the past when environment was healthier. Knowledge is not yet valued and people are seen as easy replaceable resources creating retainability issues and consequently a disorganized product with serious quality issues. Typically employee's opinion is frequently ignored and the solution is mostly accepted when coming from external sources. Most knowledgeable people in the software team left cyclically creating huge knowledge gaps. Very complex new products with huge inertia without a clear direction since there is only few knowledgeable underused people left. Onboarding in software area is a disorganized process and the main goal is to expose the new resource and forge him/her on fire. Training is a myth. Traditionally, first days (before covid) you would need to assembly your own chair and with luck you would have an empty table. In covid time, work is mostly from home but the office is open and usually secure for occasional needs. Although, home office is not yet seen as the new normal due to the characteristic management/organization limitations.
