Pros

There are none seriously no good reasons.

Cons

There are none unless you like being screamed at by office staff, called at all hours of the day but if you call them past 4 they scream at you for calling. Worst management by far for any company I have worked for and I used to be a manager for another company. You will get no hours unless you work 7 days a week and even then you still will not get hours. They offer no benefits unless you are a "star" employee. This company definetly has no shame in harassing their employees and bashing them for not being up front with what your actual duties are to the client. Oh and you will get paid very poorly the pay is terrible but the office gets more then half of what you will make. But worst of all they tell you if you are not comfortable being somewhere you can leave , THIS IS NOT TRUE, they will proceed to blame the clients behavior on you and try to make you look like you mess up even if you are doing more then what your job requires. You will also do more then what your job requires there is no "light house keeping" you are basically a maid to the entire patients family which gives you no time to take care of the actual patient. Oh and I've been SA'd and abused by patients and they didn't do anything about it until a year later then wanted me to come fill out a incident report after I sent management multiple emails about it and called to talk to management about it and it always got shrugged under the rug until I was going to get a lawyer involved. And they proceeded to still blame the SA on me? If you even think about working for this company please tuck your tail and run. Find anywhere else I beg you. I stayed with them for over a year. It's by far the WORST company I have ever worked for and I'm glad I left. Also I know multiple other visiting angels that quit because the people in the office where treating them poorly as well. This company has a high turnover rate for sure with both patients and employees. I had also many patients complain about the company but they had to use them because of the VA and had no other choice. All I can say is RUN!

Pros

Okay pay, flexible shifts, weekly pay

Cons

The company will not only fire you but also act as if your wrong for advocating for your patient who states they don't want to take their Xanax something that is taken as needed but your relief aide works overnight and is literally trying to force it upon the client so they can sleep their whole shift. Also they may have you do something I now know should've never happened which is with hold the clients narcotics meds for "their safety" even though the client is of sound mind and can administer the medication to themselves appropriately and this will most likely make your client very upset with you rightfully so but your just trying to do what VA staff has directed you to do and finally you may end up getting assaulted by a stranger that let's themselves into your clients home yelling demands at you and the client and getting irate with you and you don't even know who they are on your first day don't expect VA to protect you from a situation they should've never let happen no matter how well you did your job they still will just quietly let you go because you don't really matter in the grand scheme of it all work where you want but if you choose here just remember you were warned!
