Pros
The job is very rewarding. Can directly see the impact made on the community and how your work is making a difference. Employees are friendly and happy to help one another.
Cons
Pay and benefits are not commensurate with workload or responsibility level. Many employees work 50-60 hours per week with no overtime just to accomplish their job duties. Base pay is not a livable wage for single persons. There is no work life balance and management has said that if employees are not happy to be working 50+ hours/week and want more pay, that they should look for jobs elsewhere. Although the company states they are big in diversity and inclusion, there is a clear bias when it comes to age and disability status. There is also very little cultural diversity in many departments.
