I was subjected to frequent scoldings/criticisms and nit picking about everything we did. If we asked a question that might have been covered in training previously I always got a "You were told this before" response or "Look at your notes". The thing that made the job the most stressful is that I would be told one thing by one trainer about how to do something and then told something completely different by the other trainer. Sometimes management would contradict themselves such as when I was told to take my break on time without exception and then be criticized when something important needed to be done and I took my break instead. I would not recommend this company if you are applying for Customer Support.

Training in Vitu depends heavily upon the position. There are some that take months of mentorship and training while there are other, domain specific, positions where a strong knowledge of the industry is required. Although our recruitment and onboarding strategies attempt to find the right fit for each candidate, there are those times where we make an error. It is our belief that when we hire any of our team it is a requirement that we give them the best opportunity for success. Oftentimes that means offering those who struggle with other positions in the company that better suit their experience, talents and personality. Culture is also a very, very strong consideration at Vitu. Our mission of maintaining a strong, progressive, employee centric culture is our very first consideration. Unfortunately, rarely, we find that an individual has difficulty working a less authoritative environment. Regardless of the issues, I'd like to express my personal apology that we were not able to find a fit for you, and we wish you nothing but the best on your career path.

Pros

During a hugely transitional time, Vitu has made intentional efforts to focus on employee engagement and experience. Leadership care about the culture and their employees satisfaction. Employees genuinely care about the company and are happy to be at their jobs.

Cons

There are still growing pains as the company expands. However, issues are addressed and truly seem to matter to leadership.

Pros

Benefit package is decent for health care although terrible maternity unless you live in ca.

Cons

Lack of work life balance, large gaps in pay among the same department, lack of transparency on expectations and no SOP. Company grew and lost a lot of the previous culture.
