Pros

Vitu's office is beautiful and has free coffee/snacks. My coworkers were really nice people, and my team's junior PM made coming to work fun and exciting. Culture Committee is super nice, and hosts monthly webinars and activities which are really fun to attend! (also get a chance to win $100 for attending each one)

Cons

There's A LOT that needs working on at Vitu. Was told during week 2 of working here, that I was going to be transitioned from a Temp to an FT employee. Took the company 6 months to transfer me. On top of that, had to wait an additional 3 months after "official hire" to get any benefits/time off accrual. The pay at Vitu was severely below the market for my position. The performance reviews were nothing more than management constantly telling you what to "fix" or "improve" about yourself and nothing about your contributions or achievements at the company. Their discretionary bonus is very low (1%-2%) of your salary, as well as you have to pay partially for your Health Insurance/benefits. Management/ Chief of Staff was extremely gaslighting, failing to take accountability when things went awry, and never giving credit to you or your team when goals/accomplishments were met. It took her 9+ months to get our analyst team the correct software/tools we needed to be able to do our job properly. We had to do our best with what rudimentary programs or applications we had at hand. This caused a very high turnover rate as no one wanted to stay on our team for this reason. As time went on, and people dropped like flies, our team was expected to keep up our rate and quality of work as if we still had a team of 7. This role grew horizontally (responsibilities and load) but never vertically (pay adjustment or increase). Doesn't seem to be much room for advancement/growth here. Feels like you're stuck where you land. I brought this up to my Manager and her response was to "wait" a few months for a potential promotion, and that it's my job to "hold her accountable" for said promotion. What a joke. As I type this 5/7 people on my team have left in a span of less than 1 year (myself included).

Pros

During a hugely transitional time, Vitu has made intentional efforts to focus on employee engagement and experience. Leadership care about the culture and their employees satisfaction. Employees genuinely care about the company and are happy to be at their jobs.

Cons

There are still growing pains as the company expands. However, issues are addressed and truly seem to matter to leadership.

Pros

Benefit package is decent for health care although terrible maternity unless you live in ca.

Cons

Lack of work life balance, large gaps in pay among the same department, lack of transparency on expectations and no SOP. Company grew and lost a lot of the previous culture.
