      Pros

      Most doctors are nice to work with. The other scribes are nice and very helpful if you reach out to them. You get to experience the cases the doctors see first hand.

      Cons

      The hours can be tough. Sometimes you have a 6 am shift and suddenly have a 10pm-5am shift in the same week. The EPIC system also take some time to get familiar. This position is not for everyone, and should really be for people who are serious about pre-health or pre-med route.

      Pros

      Great benefits. 3-4 weeks of PTO/sick leave and good 401K match

      Cons

      They use and abuse you. Hard to climb up the ladder and always seem to hire externally for higher positions.
