Mandatory didactic program as new APP grad which sounds supportive, except at 15/hr x10hr/wk. Additionally, during min 3 month clinical onboarding, compensation is at only 50% of new grad rate so 30/hr for 30hr/wk. Never heard of such a horrid onboarding compensation package.
They run all service lines as lean as possible to the detriment of providers 'burn-out' potential and the mighty $$ is the driver. The top will set rules that out to be followed, despite the claim it's a democracy. Start/end times and shifts are easily switched around.
To get time off, FT employees need to find their own replacement. Yet, their policy states nothing of the sorts.
APPs are called Midlevels and the top is quick to remind APPs that's all they are.
Site leaders are not selected based on merit/qualifications but how quickly they'll say 'yes' to anything the top wants changed/implemented, without resistance or common sense.
