Pros
One of the main pros that sticks out to me while working at this company is the environment. Everyone at the company comes in every day ready to give it their all and succeed, and it rubbed off on me from the very first day I started. It’s much easier to maintain a positive mindset and stay motivated when I’m surrounded by people who radiate that same energy every day and are always determined to succeed. Another pro of being at Vivax Pros is the support from the team both in and out of work. Whether it’s your colleagues, mentors, or managers, everyone genuinely seems to want the best for you and wants to help you both in and out of work. I once had a conversation that stuck with me when discussing my future career plans with a manager. I was told that if I wanted to stay at Vivax Pros and continue to pursue my career within the company he would do everything he could to help me throughout the process, and if I wanted to leave the company and pursue my career somewhere else, he would write me the best letter of recommendation he could. That conversation proved to me that the leadership of this company wants to see people succeed in life, not just at the company.
Cons
The only real con I’d consider notable enough to mention is the schedule. It’s really less of an objective con and more just a personal preference, but it’s important to know that regarding specifically the SDR role, we work based on the sun. In the winters we begin work earlier in the day and get off when it’s dark around 5:30, and in the summers we begin work later in the day and get off when it’s dark around 7:30. This can sometimes make having a structured schedule on a long term basis difficult, but overtime I’ve learned to change the structure of my days based on the time of year and it’s no longer a struggle for me. Everyone is different so this may have never been a negative for others at all, but it’s something I personally had to get used to when starting the job.
