This took me quite some time to think about so I could convey it would out sounding like a "bitter" employee. I genuinely want to help whoever is considering this place as future work opportunity. When interviewing positions, really dive in and ask questions about the position you're going for because everything is beefed up about 95%. Every role in that company is essentially a customer service role regardless of what you do. Their marketing rolls are basically glorified call centers and they only really let you dive into actual marketing roles if you hit your unrealistic goals as a "reward" even though your intention is to help the company by doing actual marketing work. Project Coordination is essentially there to be the available person when things go wrong with a project, which happens about 70% of the time. If you need help, don't go to upper management, every time you walk by an office you can see a Director of a Department leaning back in their chair and scrolling through their phone looking bored. I wish I was over exaggerating but I'm not. Cliques form, everyone gossips, someone is probably saying something negative on you. In marketing they say you only call warm leads however half the leads you get are from door knockers or events where they harrass people into giving them their information. Then they have you call them multiple times a week and look at it as a win one a home owner gets aggressive with you and stops asking you to call them. If you have concerns, I cannot stress this enough, keep it to yourself. I want to start by saying I have a new job where my boss encourages me to raise concerns so we can work on fixing systems and come up with better plans. If you do this here, they see it as a sign of weakness. The moment you express concern, they pressure you until you want to quit so they don't have to pay unemployment rather than work together on finding a resolution. There are definitely favorites. Over all, you'll think it's a cool fun and young place to work. But the amount of time I've cried on my way home from work and felt nauseous waking up getting ready to be embarrassed or harassed by higher ups is way to many to tolerate. Regardless of bad weather, they expect you to come into work, during power outages when its so hot outside, during snow cyclones where again the power goes out and it's freezing, and will do anything to get you stay to work. My fondest memory is the time I missed three days of work because I was throwing up blood from ulcers because I was stressed, did not get paid, and my then manager made jokes about me having a nice vacation away from work.
