Pros

I enjoyed my year and a half at Vivax Pros and the opportunities I had to contribute meaningfully. The Austin office has a great team culture, and I felt supported by my peers and immediate colleagues. Working with a fast-growing company allowed me to develop my skills and achieve measurable success as a top performer.

Cons

Leadership prioritizes profit over people, which is evident in the company’s very high turnover rate. Leadership’s handling of employee resignations contradicts the values of integrity and fairness that the company claims to uphold. I recently accepted another opportunity with increased pay that better aligns with my worth in the market. Despite providing a three-week notice and offering to work through the holiday period, I was terminated early and denied two weeks of holiday pay I had earned. This decision reflects a lack of respect for employees and prioritizes cost-cutting over ethical treatment. This decision left me in a precarious financial position during the holiday season and showed a lack of respect for employees who have worked hard to uphold the company’s mission. While Vivax Pros emphasizes "doing the right thing" for customers, that same principle is not consistently extended to employees.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We appreciate your contributions during your time at Vivax Pros and are glad to hear you found value in the team culture, opportunities for growth, and your achievements as a top performer. Your success and positive experiences with peers and colleagues are a testament to the strong foundation we aim to build within our teams. We’re sorry to hear about the concerns you raised regarding leadership decisions and how they impacted your departure. Employee satisfaction and ethical treatment are core to our values. We do, however, require an employee returns to work from our paid holiday time-off in order to take advantage of our generous 2 week paid holiday break. Your advice on improving retention is well taken. Despite having strong retention for entry level sales, we continue to look for ways to increase employee retention for all positions. Thank you again for your candid insights. We wish you the best in your new role and hope it brings you the growth and recognition you deserve.

Pros

Welcoming environment with leadership that practices what they preach. Friendly and motivated employees create a culture of working hard, cheering each other on. Hard work is financially rewarded! Ethical company that has a solid reputation with homeowners they serve.

Cons

Parking can be tricky especially on concert days (close to the Junkyard) but if you get there early enough there are plenty of spots. All parking is free and I feel safe. Super close access to I-25.

Pros

Vivax is literally the best place I have ever worked, by FAR. I cannot say enough good things about this place from an employee standpoint. I have never felt so supported, seen, cared for, and motivated in my life. This place is special. They care so much about each individual employee and their success at this company. They are actively trying to promote those that work hard. I am excited to go to work every day. Not only are the leaders so caring and supportive, but my co workers hit the same bar. Everyone is in it for the team and making sure everyone is taken care of. We have so much fun and it motivates me to work hard for them and their success, as well. I see myself at Vivax for life and cannot wait for the future here. Working for good people that you care about and feeling like you are making a difference makes such a difference in enjoyment at work.

Cons

The parking situation could be better and I do wish the benefits were cheaper but I am thankful to have them. I do also get burnt out because being an SDR is draining in a lot of ways, but the team and management always keeps me going.
