Pros

There were literally no pros to this organization

Cons

Leadership here inhibits an extreme power difference. If you think your thoughts, opinions and ideas matter, think again. Expect to come to work feeling anxious, under valued and intimidated because the leadership here is the worst I have ever experienced. They pride themselves on wanted to revamp the organizations culture, prioritizing the employees but they seem to forget how to be good leaders to their own team and treat people nicely. My leader did not know how to connect to people at all. Worst leadership personnel I have yet to experience. Also, worst retention rate I have yet to experience in an organization, but to be honest, I am not surprised with how the organization is ran.

Pros

Good pay, generous paid time off. mental health days, personal days. birthday holiday.

Cons

top heavy - CEO is wonderful and hard working, but takes in a HUGE salary for the non profit world. fine but the pay disparity is questionable. Could use more options for remote work or flexible schedule.

Pros

Meaningful mission and opportunity to serve vulnerable populations. Some staff members are dedicated and genuinely care about clients. Valuable experience gained in community-based prevention work.

Cons

Significant issues with team dynamics and lack of professional boundaries across roles. Nursing staff in particular demonstrated inconsistent professionalism, including poor communication, lack of accountability, and behavior that contributed to a stressful work environment. There appeared to be limited support for staff experiencing burnout or mental health challenges, despite the nature of the work. Case management dynamics at times felt more adversarial than collaborative, and boundaries for roles such as Prevention Specialists were not consistently respected. Overall, internal culture often detracted from the ability to effectively serve clients.
