Pros

Good benefits. Employees are given the things they need and what you would expect from a corporate company. Pay isn't bad. 100% of travel is covered - really big perk as a tech!

Cons

- The culture is set up to protect the absolutely incompetent upper-management. You cannot call these people out or complain about them. - You will have a bad reputation because of Vivint's outsourcing of labor and contract work; they pay them per-job and they do the absolute minimum to get installations working. Their work falls apart shortly after and you look responsible. - Vivint's R&D pushes out technology far before it is ready. The products are full of bugs and sometimes cannot be fixed due to firmware issues.

Pros

Great company, lots of perks! The schedule is consistent; busy and slow seasons make the work predictable. There is always something to do, so if you like to stay busy, then this position is great for you. The team is relatively small, so everyone is close!

Cons

No growth opportunities. Seems like the 1Stop department in general gets pushed to the side; there is no recognition for the work you do.
