Pros
The teachers and associate teachers are the lifeblood of this organization and, along with the students, will be the only reason anybody would stay with Voices after seeing the horrible mess they got going.
Cons
As others have mentioned, principals, deans of culture, business managers, and especially teachers have an extremely high turnover rate here. There is no work-life balance. You get paid less than most surrounding districts and work way longer hours. 8.00am-4.00pm teaching and your prep time is on your personal time outside of those hours. Upper management is a chaos and everything is done at the last minute. There was one principal in Morgan Hill that played favorites, was extremely petty, and overall unpleasant to work with and it was known throughout the entire network of schools. However, this is the case with most CMO/admin people in the organization. The CEO is completely disconnected from what is happening in the schools, and at the mandatory teacher retreats (in which you learn nothing about curriculum and all about mindset) gives sob stories and crocodile tears all while never making any meaningful changes for the benefit of the schools.
