      Great company but going through a very tough time - Apply but after 3 years - Engineer Volvo Group Employee Review

      Pros

      Friendly and open work environment with colleagues. Opportunities to get international experience. Culturally very diverse.

      Cons

      Directors and up are very political. Marketing and Sales divisions are weak and unable to grasp volumes. Pay is under industry standard. Chambersburg is where most employees live, is dull too. Shippensburg organization is running very thin after 3 layoffs. 50+hr work weeks.

      Pros

      Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

      Cons

      Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

      * Not micro-managed * Friendly working environment * Competent and well-versed supervisors * Fruitful experience for those who seek the work (It won't always come to you as part of your role is to aid the Maintenance engineer in his work)

      Cons

      * Lack of a set plan for interns to follow to gain experience (past excel documentation)
