Even though the European offices have no stringent rules on office timings, the offices in india require you to report before 10 am. This despite the fact that work starts after 12 , usually after the swedish customers come in They appraise you based on whether your timesheets have been released or not,,, not based on the quality of your deliverables There exists within this organization a department called consulting services, which is now changing to IT services... only to place employees into projects. The so called managers of this department manager 40 -50 people each. And if you miss releasing one of your timesheets, they gleefully bring your appraisal down. Everyone gets an equal hike here- no one will ever grow except top management, If youre a developer , you will remain one for the next 20 years
