Cons
I have decades of experience spanning over a variety of hospitality and customer service industries and this was easily the worst experience of my career. Upper management, Store Managers and District Managers, celebrate mediocrity as if it were something to be proud of and accountability is nowhere to be found. Absentee management is the norm. On their website, they claim their community values are that, "we aim to prioritize great relationships, bringing together people from all walks of life to share positive, meaningful experiences." This was the main reason I joined the team at Vuori, because these values are very much inline with my own. Unfortunately, there is little evidence that anyone at Vuori actually believes in these values. During the hiring process, there were several conversations around the many opportunities there would be to grow within the company, as Vouri was growing so much and so quickly. They continued to look outside of the company for new hires while telling current employees that those opportunities were no longer available. If you are passionate about building great teams, providing excellent service and products and a work environment that is built on respect and accountability, don't waste your time with Vuori. They do not care about these things! Also, they pay poorly.
