Cons
WESCO is failing miserably in their technology. Mostly all is built within and quite frankly not up to par with the rest of the industry. WESCO is also a company stuck in its ways - they can just never seem to make changes necessary to grow effectively and retain quality employees. If you aren’t management, your opinion is not valued whatsoever which is truly a shame. As a younger employee who works hard at my job, I see so many loopholes and want to put in that extra effort so badly to help this company but just do not have the voice or ability to do so. It’s management’s failing way or the highway. Instead, I sit here with my career in a state of stagnancy watching so many young, talented and qualified employees leave for the same reasons that make me contemplate doing so. WESCO mistakenly has too many people in managerial or leadership positions that aren’t qualified to be there. As a result, you sometimes feel lost or lacking guidance in determining your career path and exploiting career growth. More often than not, people are promoted out of convenience or seniority rather than truly being qualified.
