Big company with fair coverage. Distribution centers are a plus in some ways and national accounts efforts are definitely the best in the industry.
Cons
management hamstrings employees and their ability to sell. You can never be sure which manufacturer you can buy from or who headauarters is supporting at any given time. John Engle is now CEO and he has gutted the sales organization with layoffs (supposedly moe to come) and customer service is at a new low due to lack of inside and warehouse support to manage orders. Engle continues to hire people from outside the industry who have no knowledge of the customers or how electrical distribution works. It's pretty obvious that there is no promotional opportunities in this company and you have to leave to get a raise or better position.
