Pros
Learn the workings of a Fortune 500 company. Sorta'. Good age range to work with as well as good money. But I think it depends on what part you work with. Quotas are reasonable and time frame to adjust is good.
Cons
Favoritism abounds. Performance is not rewarded. WAY too many supporting groups. Under average industry pay range. Not sales-oriented firm; operations-oriented firm. Company is moving to non-commission, account management model. Poor execution of executive mandates. No cooperation between divisions. Marketing will spend $10 million to sponsor a NASCAR racecar, but I have to fire salespeople to compensate for the quarter-to-quarter, short-term mentality of poor upper management.
