Pros
The people in the trenches doing the work to make the company profitable. Flexible hours depending on manager in each department
Cons
This once transparent company has become a divide and hide organization since its sales and margins began to slump. The business model of purchasing companies to increase the organic sales growth has proven to be nothing more than a Wall Street shell game. WESCO put in Mandatory and Voluntary unpaid leaves, eliminates positions within the company as quietly as possible to keep employees uninformed that layoffs are happening, while emails for the CEO state that the company is in great financial shape. The cuts currently being made are penny wise while dollar foolish and will catch up with the company. This shortsightedness may elevate some of the pressure for a poor quarter, but it is not going to fix the big issue at hand.
