Pros

First of all, the College Program they have is run excellently, with good leaders in that department. I highlight this because, sadly, the rest of the company is not run as well. You get the opportunity to interview with branches across the nation, and potentially get relocated to somewhere the *should* give you a good career boost. This job does have great benefits, and pays well for a entry level job. The catch is, your experience relies heavily on where you get placed and who your immediate manager is. - Good Pay, benefits - Opportunity to learn and grow (the industry is super complicated at first) - Being able to pick your branch (if your good at what you do) - Kind of job where you can leave your work at home. I was always out by 4:30 every day. Detail oriented position, you need to be well organized.

Cons

Branch Mgmt. does not take your development into account at all, you have to be on them if you want to get any of what the SDP is supposed to do. Once I was trained, I was put on a desk and handled the same account for 18 months, with no real movement. If i did not approach my manager about training sessions, or even the chance to go on a outside sales call or delivery run, he would never address it. They didn't even do monthly meetings to go over your progress (unless you request it). Again, this depends on your local manager. - No real care for your development - No real office culture. - Poor Training, Poor problem solving - Good Ol Boys Club (interpret that however you want)

Pros

Strategic partnerships across internal departments; access to leverage multiple partners, SME, tools, resources to win opportunities; education/training opportunities are expansive and accessible. Great work culture!

Cons

So big, we get in our own way; escalating to problem-solve is extremely laborious and tedious to get standardized unified KPIs for consistency/expectations. Terrible onboarding for new hires; lowers morale from the beginning-on your own to figure it out if you do not have an organized, attention-to-detail manager-too long to help have experienced talent be turn-key since the applications/CRMs are extremely outdated; finding who you need to get an answer is cumbersome; if you do not know people, you will take that much longer to find the right internal partner to assist with basic tasks.
