Pros
The team over at Wevr is great and what we're creating is amazing! It's awesome being a part of a team that is dedicated to creating an immersive experience with new and emerging tech. A lot of the negative reviews mention disorganized leadership. That hasn't been my experience. In my experience, the leadership teams are getting more comfortable with delegating and leaning in on people that are proven in their craft. I feel valued and respected and often meet 1:1 with the leadership team to discuss projects, barriers, and roadblocks. They're open to collaborating with you directly which is rare. You can tell that they're passionate about what they do and they want to see continued success. Wevr has been around for a number of years and despite that startup, feel does have some maturity behind it which is awesome. Sometimes it feels like startups only have a 2-week memory before moving on to the next thing. Excited for the next step Wevr is taking in creating their own product as I feel it will revolutionize and empower 3D creators in a way that we haven't seen before. Leadership is pushing for more diversity within the organization and we already have some great representation. (This could always be better) But glad as a queer person that this is vocally important to the company
Cons
Normal start-up growing pains. Feel like that is pretty standard and if you've worked in the start-up space before it won't come as a surprise and you should be able to weather things pretty easily. Might be a struggle if someone isn't as familiar with this space. Sometimes there is a bottleneck in communication but rarely detrimental.
