Pros
Full benefit package- 401k, dental, vision, medical. Employer paid basic life insurance Decent salary range depending on how big your office is. Try for 1.2 Million + office to be eligible for better pay/bonuses Advancement opportunities for those who can relocate Yearly bonus paid out based on office results in comparison to previous year Start with 2 weeks vacation You are able to manage your location like you would your own business
Cons
Inventories start and finish at odd hours making family time difficult ( Your team can start as early as 2 am if you have a traveling office for a typical "morning" shift.) Must use your personal car when doing field work and only get reimbursed $.27/mile after you travel 30+ miles. Most local area offices cover 150 mile radius if not further. Expect to travel as needed On call 24/7 to assist your management team, deal with technical issues, etc. Don't expect to finish dinner uninterrupted! Night inventories can start around 5 pm and go until the next morning. If you are up with a morning store you are still required to answer all calls 24/7 NO MATTER WHAT. Must get a blackberry/I phone (which they will reimburse you $50/month for) to have access to read/respond to email all day. No petty cash. Supplies can be ordered with no out of pocket expense however there always seems to be something you will need to purchase. You must wait 3 weeks to get reimbursed for expenses.
