Pros

There are no pros. if you do ever happen to work here, do take pictures of all your work shift schedules and pay schedules, like I did. Also bring a tape recorder with you and have on at all times, which is what I should of done.

Cons

Where to begin.... -There is no part time or full time. There is variable time where you will be either working part time one week or full time the next -Workers are put on a quota system where we can't carefully count the merchandise, we have to quickly scan or face: our pay deducted, being forced to sit out for the rest of the shift, and strikes that can lead to us getting fired if we fail to make the PER HOUR quota of, for example, 3000 items.... -In short: WILL GREATLY COST WHAT EVER COMPANY THAT EMPLOYS THEM to count there merchandise. -No training -Constantly shifting schedules -Careless bosses -Abusive Bosses -No breaks/long shifts -Will put you on a double shift WITHOUT giving you 24 hour notice (ILLEAGL) -Will deduct most of your pay from your pay check for one error -Will make you sit out for portions or nearly the whole shift if you make an error -Complain about errors in pay or the fact you got onto a double shift without being given 24 hour notice? Be prepared for the manager or managers/supervisors to belittle you and degrade you with a series of taunts, ad hominems, what if's etc. -Rude coworkers -ignorant coworkers/supervisors/managers -lack of communication between employees and management. Management rarelyb replied to calls or email -long travel

Pros

WIS is such a big company with a variety of roles, there's so many ways to find what fits "you." Opportunities for growth. I personally have like all of my management team, always nice and listened to their employees. When I was an inventory supervisor, I loved the traveling and experiencing new places. Higher pay than minimum wage, and typically higher than what most places offer.

Cons

Depending on the position, hours can be on the longer side. (but this can also be seen as a good thing.) Early starting times. Certain positions sometimes have a high turnover rate. While there are a lot of possibilities for growth, sometimes it can be a little difficult.

Pros

Nothing about this job had pro's.

Cons

Terrible Management. Was aware that their top performing employee was harassing many young girls (including myself) in a very explicit way and knew of this issue and did not resolve anything. The shifts are not long due ot everyone trying to count as fast as they can due to higher pay if you do count faster, but it comes with a cost. The schedules are never consistent, and you can wish your sleep schedule goodbye. You will also be using a lot of gas for this job and will sometimes have a total drive time of 4 hours and only work 2. Awful.
