Pros

+The work is simple enough, count, and count fast. +The hours very pretty flexible, I was told if I couldn't make an arranged time that I simply need not sign up for it on the online schedule. +Could be a good second, or part time job.

Cons

-Gets incredibly tedious (EVERY single item in the stores must be counted...EVERYTHING) -site locations vary -low pay/part time (you're not going to be able to live solely off this job) -always had to provide own means for getting to the different locations -Very inconsistent. Some weeks you'd have jobs appear on your schedule, some weeks you wouldn't I worked there for a month or so, during that time, I received an offer for another (full time) job and accepted. I notified my manager that my availability for WIS international would be very limited (if at all) she noted it and agreed to keep me on the roster just in case I had an occasional job that I could make. Of course, I never had the time or the will (yeah, let's work 40+ hours, then spend a night or two counting doodads). About a month later I get an email saying I am no longer considered an employee of WIS...big surprise, but no big deal. So I write my manager a nice thank you letter for the time/opportunity she had given me. She doesn't response (still hasn't). A few weeks later I get a notification saying I was "involuntarily terminated". Very nice. Yes, YOU ended our work relationship. Whatever helps you sleep at night, WIS.

Pros

WIS is such a big company with a variety of roles, there's so many ways to find what fits "you." Opportunities for growth. I personally have like all of my management team, always nice and listened to their employees. When I was an inventory supervisor, I loved the traveling and experiencing new places. Higher pay than minimum wage, and typically higher than what most places offer.

Cons

Depending on the position, hours can be on the longer side. (but this can also be seen as a good thing.) Early starting times. Certain positions sometimes have a high turnover rate. While there are a lot of possibilities for growth, sometimes it can be a little difficult.

Pros

Nothing about this job had pro's.

Cons

Terrible Management. Was aware that their top performing employee was harassing many young girls (including myself) in a very explicit way and knew of this issue and did not resolve anything. The shifts are not long due ot everyone trying to count as fast as they can due to higher pay if you do count faster, but it comes with a cost. The schedules are never consistent, and you can wish your sleep schedule goodbye. You will also be using a lot of gas for this job and will sometimes have a total drive time of 4 hours and only work 2. Awful.
