Pros
There are some very nice people who work at ghg. Usually, they come in with energy and great intentions, but after a couple weeks, the energy slowly fades. There are some decent perks, and they do sort of gesture at softening the corporate culture and making things humane by giving parties from time to time--that's actually very nice of them to do, granted--it's sort of a moot point, though, when you can't possibly attend because you're basically strapped to your desk for 16 hours a day slaving away for a client that you're not authorized to control. We're basically told from "on high" to bend over and take whatever it is that the client is giving, no matter what. That's no way to run a company, but whatevs. They're also constantly underbidding, which is another recipe for disaster. They survived the economic downturn and whatnot, but it has to do with the willingness of their employees to work a HUGE number of hours for which they're not being paid (there is no overtime for salaried employees), not the genius of their business plans and policies.
Cons
Nothing ever seems to change. Salaries are pathetic and painfully low compared to other agencies. And, the underhanded and untrustworthy HR department sets up a smoke screen if you ever challenge them about it or ask for anything. And no one ever seems to do anything with these massive piles of "learnings" they're always on about. It's very frustrating, to say the least.
