Pros
My co-workers and boss are great to work with. We have very good communication back and forth and it's easy to get my work done.
Cons
The upper management expects you to put in more than 8 hours of work each day. If you aren't doing overtime, you are looked down upon even if you don't have work. I've asked for additional work and responsibilities and have received neither. I am looked down upon if i have a doctor's appointment or i get sick and have to miss work. I use my PTO however; i'm expected to make up the hours that i missed. I have to dress up on a daily basis which isn't bad, but when i sit in my cubical all day long and don't go to meetings, spending $$$ on women's dress close is costly and a waste since I'm not seen by anyone but my co-workers around me. It wouldn't be so bad if my salary would increase more than 2-3% each year. I've worked at WPS for over 10 years and i haven't hit $50,000 yet, I have had outstanding performance reviews and never ending promises of promotions and raises; however nothing has happened yet.
