Good start if you want to work in the health insurance industry - Claims WPS Health Solutions Employee Review

Some of the bad things include poor training even though you have about 4 weeks of it, the trainers are not very educated in what they are teaching. I did most of my learning after we got out onto the floor. Procedures, including auditing procedures, are constantly changing and there is minimal communication when something does change. Speaking of which, there is a big lack of communication between managers and employees. They constantly have no information on anything, I don't know if they are lying because they don't want to tell anyone anything or if they really don't know, either way, its ridiculous. The job is also very boring and repetitive. There are also very little opportunities to move up, unless you want to move to a different contract but even then you'd be lucky for an opportunity to come up, the office/company is just to small. They do not offer tuition reimbursement but why would you need it, there aren't many opportunities to move up anyway. They also share the building with other companies plus a conference center so there are always people EVERYWHERE, good luck finding a clean bathroom. SIDE NOTE: one of the other companies in the building have been fighting of a bed bug infestation since this last spring. Probably just a matter of time before they make their way into the WPS side of the building. Can't really get into the building without having to walk to past people with cancer sticks in their mouth. They don't stay in the designated smoking area so people that don't want to smell the smoke usually have to anyway.
