Company compares salary and keeps it current. Lots of good people to work with. The severance package was good. The IT department is working to stay current with technology.
Cons
New CEO and new CIO have destroyed the old relationship between management and employees. CEO pushed out a bunch of the upper management and brought in cronies. CIO did the same thing. Had a perfectly good application in place for process management, CIO likes a different vendor, uprooting the entire business processes to switch everything over to new vendor, which does virtually the same thing the existing application does, wasting about a million dollars in the process. Total waste of time and money. Management has dramatically increased the bureaucracy, firing lower level employees and adding VPs and Directors and Managers, supposedly to save money. A Service Delivery unit has been added to IS, to help communication between employees and IS, but it is just another layer of bureaucracy. No warning on job loss, no opportunity to switch to a different position. You go into a meeting and suddenly you are being walked out the door.
