Pros

Amazing benefits and compensation, compensated for drive time, random kickbacks all the time like gift cards, free lunch, free coffee to really keep morale up, they look for very specific kinds of people so I love the people that work here, the culture is very helpful - they really want to help their membership and empower us to do so, policies and procedures make sense, lots of back office teams to support all areas, great employee reference sight to look up information and get questions answered

Cons

The training is really limited and if I didn't have previous financial institution experience, the process would have been so stressful. There is a lot of opportunity in the training department to go more in depth and more shadowing.

Pros

Members are the best part of WSECU

Cons

Not an environment that supports neurodivergent employees. People and Culture Services presents as supportive during onboarding, but once you file for accomadations or raise concerns about treatment or how policies are applied, communication can shift and become inconsistent. If you rely on clear expectations, direct responses, or consistent application of policy, be aware that those may not hold once issues are formally raised. If you come here because they are convincing at least save everything and learn employee rights, because they won't tell you those.
