Pros
At present there is not one pro to working at this organization. And unfortunately, the organization is so far gone and in too deep to recover anytime soon. The support groups in small pockets like some in HR, Payroll, Marketing and Travel were always helpful.
Cons
The Benefits are expensive. If you have family, intend to have a family do not work for this organization as the benefits alone will cost you a lot. For example, family coverage on a PPO plan will run you ~$750. 401k match sucks. The average increase for benefits every year is upward of 10% yet your average pay increase is 2-3%. The organization has been belied with awful leadership. Each one successively worse than the last. Honestly I don't know who is worse the previous CEO George Pierson or the current one Greg Kelly. I'm leaning toward the latter because while George was an a-hole, I think Greg is a bigger one. Senior management across the board is just awful. The organization is in full tailspin. Women if you value your sanity and career stay away from this 75% male environment. Women are treated awful and never have an opportunity to rise and the few that have were inevitably taken out over time. If you are Black, do not bother. You will never ascend not to any real and true areas of leadership.
