Pros
The three best things about Worldwide Express are the culture, the training, and the opportunity for advancement. I think a lot of people take the job specifically because of the culture. This organization is made up of driven, competitive, like-minded people. I like coming to work each day, and I feel that everyone on my team always play for number one. We are dedicated to growing both personally and professionally each day. The second best thing about this company is the training. The sales training at Worldwide Express is awesome. At every level of the organization, I can tell that my superiors genuinely care about my professional growth and development, and are committed to supporting my career goals. I am a good salesperson, and a respected business person, because of a lot of what I have learned at Worldwide Express training. And finally, there is great opportunity for advancement at Worldwide Express. Promotions are based on performance, and top performers are recognized. Upper management will create new leadership roles for those who deserve to be promoted, and there are clear benchmarks to hit in order to be promoted. The opportunity for advancement (and income) is great.
Cons
Sales is not for everyone. And, outside sales (specifically) can be very challenging. This is not an "easy" job. We work long days (getting to the office at 8am, and staying after 5pm), and we have bad days. There can be a lot of rejection in sales, especially outside sales, and this position. (For our franchise, at least) there aren't any of the perks that you might see at other organizations like "free gym membership," or "free food at the office all day."
