- There are a lot of offices and people in the company, not all are bad eggs but the bad eggs seem to stick around and filter to the top. Anyone that I knew there that was a decent person realized their worth and moved on to bigger and better things.
- You are selling an inferior service door to door. Selling UPS services to people who don't want it and if they did could get better prices and support from UPS directly.
- Not real sales training. They claim they have best-in-class training and even send you to Dallas to train on some fancy trip. All it is is a huge group of young people in a conference room where the VPs sand in the middle and talk about money and call people out and try to embarrass them. They just make you memeorize a scrpit rather than teach actual sales methodology.
- Constant revolving door, churn and burn to the core. Not a culture of helping people succeed, and will let you drown and then ask why you can't swim.
- Toxic culture coming from the top down. Inappropriate behavior, rude back-handed comments to your face, comments from management about other employees behind their back.
- Innaporriate sexual/adulterous relationships between upper management and subordinates.. this actually happened in my office (management pressured the subordinate to leave)
- Will do what they can to cheat you out of commissions and pa rasises
Urge you to think about working somewhere else. You can find success here if you play your cards right but you can have a much more rewarding career elsewhere.
