Since this is Mechanical and Controls Company most of the times you feel that Software Engineers are treated like underdogs. They may not tell on the face, but it is reflected in the Hike and Recognition and promotion. And only Mechanical and Controls and Electricals team will get good promotions and recognition, Management thinks it is their birth right not to promote Software Engineers. There is not single example of Software Engineers growing in the organization. If you are a software Engineers think twice before joining this company. Sometimes managers can do micro management.
