Pros
If Cowbridge followed Waitrose policies it would be a brilliant place to work. The ethics and aims behind the company are very impressive. This is extremely let down by the managers at Cowbridge.
Cons
Management. The management at Waitrose is the most appalling! Irrelevant of age and experience each and every manager is not suited to their role and should not be in any form of managerial position. This however I can not comment on when referring to store manager of Waitrose as I only met him on 4 occasions during my 2 year employment at Waitrose. The people who are employed below management all start with great intentions and passion, you see this slowly become drained from each and every partner due to the mistreatment and rudeness from the managers. Bullying and incidents are also badly handled, this also includes physical assault which has been overlooked and instead taken into police matters as managers said to 'man up and get on with each other'. Could be a great place to work if all current management is replaced by people better suited!
