Pros
This is VERY important to me and the Partnership allows me to fulfil my role giving the customer perfect service. If I find that a regular customer has a special birthday that day for instance I can ask for a bunch of flowers wrapped for that customer. I like making people smile and because I enjoy my job it reflects on the service I can give. I have worked retail ALL my working life and Waitrose is by far the best place to work. Also they are very understanding when you have problems outside of work. They have helped me with both physical and emotional problems. I like to go to the theatre, and I get a ticket subsidy. I go to the chiropodist and they pay two thirds of the cost.
Cons
Not enough time is given to train on the job. There is So much paperwork to fill in to keep in line with legalities and it's hard sometimes trying to find the time when you have other jobs to do, including Multimedia training.
