Decent benefits but poor pay and support - Middle School English Teacher Wake County Public Schools Employee Review

Very little support. Very challenging students and colleagues. The pay is awful and the state of NC has a very bad situation with its government. Students get away with a lot with no recourse and teachers have too many students in pretty poor working conditions. If I hadn't started teaching decades ago, I wouldn't be doing it. I definitely would not recommend young people to go into this profession in its current iteration.
