Pros

Decent pay. Ample opportunity to grow and move forward (if your buddies with certain people, and white) GREAT BENIFITS with the walnet and perk spot options. I actually bought my car with a discount from Walgreens perk spot page.

Cons

No one in a power position has respect for the little people. Eben the staff under the manager and under the supervisor look down on you and try to talk to you any way they see fit. There's a lot of people in rolls that they have no business being there. They are unprofessional and lazy. There are NO blacks in manager, supervisor, and or team leads despite them applying for these positions and despite them having just as much if not more experience then some that were chosen for the position. Human resources does absolutely nothing to try and resolve issues that several staff members has brought to their attention hey simply refer you back to you supervisor (the very person you've had issues with) ..oh and the Point system is a ridiculous idea it should be done away with. Mandatory over time that I'd constantly being told I'd going away had been in place forever per a 10th year employee.. Its too much especially when you can't even choose when you can stay and can't stay...

Pros

Can be a fun environment. All in whom your staff is. Operating photo was fun and building projects for the customers. Learning about pharmacy operations.

Cons

Work life balance and low pay for what is expected. Not having enough payroll to effectively run a store. My store ran FE on a 320 hour a week budget. That was barely enough to get buy and meet the expectations put out by the company. I was never able to keep a full leadership staff. When a leader called out, I had to stay. There were days I was called away from my own dinner table. SM's were forced to be in the pharmacy for more than half of their day regardless as to what is happening in the FE. I worked over 50 hours a week and barely got to spend time with my family. If I wasn't at the store I was getting a phone call and having to go back to the store.
