Pros
I've worked with wonderful management that have allowed me the opportunity to move up in the store level, has granted me a flexible schedule to finish school (so as I can move on from this company), and frankly just understands how frustrating it is working for this pharmacy giant.
Cons
Corporate has no clue what goes on in the store level. I feel like they speak to us like we are children and they offer stupid, childish incentives (i.e. Pizza party for the store that gets the most flu shots...?) while they continue to cut hours, limit staffing, put on hiring freezes and cap pay. I worked in a busy pharmacy that was constantly shorthanded and overwhelmed while corporate was demanding higher numbers, more vaccines and nitpicking everything we didn't have time to accomplish. Walgreens has become a cheap company and a terrible place to work for.
