Pros

• Exceptional Compensation: Top-tier pay and annual earning potential for a driver position, with reliable mileage. • Superior Benefits and Retirement: Best-in-class health coverage and a great 401k/stock purchase program. • Modern and Safe Equipment: Fleet is well-maintained, promoting safety and reducing breakdowns. • Reliable Home Time: The schedule allows for dependable, frequent time off, which is a major advantage over OTR carriers.

Cons

Specific to Brooksville: • Hostile Office Culture: The office staff and specific individuals in management maintained a consistently unhelpful and hostile attitude toward drivers. Dispatch and planning communication often felt adversarial rather than cooperative. • Inconsistent Policy Enforcement: Policies appeared to be applied inconsistently, creating an unpredictable and high-stress atmosphere for drivers operating out of this terminal. • Overly Intrusive Surveillance Practices: Management at this terminal exhibited aggressive monitoring practices. The use of dashcam footage, sometimes weeks after the fact, created a feeling of constant and unnecessary scrutiny over non-operational matters. • Low Support & High Scrutiny: There was a clear lack of professional support from the terminal's management team, which seemed more focused on internal discipline than on driver retention or fostering a safe environment.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
