Pros

Paid okay, friendly co-workers, bonus pay on holidays, 401k matching

Cons

Despite friendly co-workers, management was often short fused and on edge, several managers had beef with each other, leading to workplaces not being prepared by the previous shift. People not showing up for shift was a very common occurrence, sometimes being short 6 people at a time, making it impossible to work efficiently. On multiple occasions, despite there being only 2 people throwing the truck, managers would come in asking why progress was slow, disregarding that there's 2 people doing an 8 person job. I was scheduled multiple times for shifts that took place during college hours, despite informing management of my educational circumstances. The F.A.S.T machine broke down at least 15 times a shift, and management often did not communicate when things were going to be fixed or replaced.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
