Pros

1. Lots of opportunities to explore different aspects of the retail and ecommerce business. 2. You will be working with bigger teams end up making good friends. 3. Pay is good for Bangalore

Cons

1. Lack of clear strategy for lot of product areas. 2. Lot of service culture in Bangalore office hence micromanagement and stressful power grab politics exists. 3. Bangalore product org has no sway in key decisions they just have to follow what US decides. 4. No empathy for teams working from India. There will be times when you end up working 12-14 hours whereas you peers in US are comfortably logging off at 5PM to spend time with their families. 5. Growth opportunities have been almost negligible since past 3 years. Do not recommend for product roles.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
